Hole in battery revisited

Thanks to all who offered advice yesterday. So here's what I did. The hole was only pin sized so I hand reamed it with a 1/8 bit and inserted a slightly larger well siliconed nylon screw and then covered the head with it. I added enough water to cover the hole and it is holding so far. Thanks again men. Regards, Cosmo
