Hydrolic problem?

I have a 51 Farmall M with two-way live hydrolics & encountered a problem yesterday moing round bales with my loader. My hydrolics were working great, but as I started moving my 12th bale, I lost most of my lift. It would pick the bales up just enough to get off the ground, but NO HIGHER! My fluid level was fine, but I did notice a little oil leakage from my pump. Any ideas on what the problem would be on the lift with my bucket??? THANKS
