I used to pull a 6 ft Brillion with the Super H. I could cut about anything I could drive over in 3rd gear, about 5 mph. But the cutter did a better job if I ran in 2nd. Chopping corrnstalks and clipping pastures I could run in 4th, about 6-1/2 mph if the stuff was less than a foot tall.
Frankly, for an M I'd look for a 7 ft. My Buddy bought a new 8 ft BUSHHOG last year and now He's looking for a bigger tractor, His D-17 diesel won't hardly pull it. But He's clipping CRP on some REALLY steep hills.
