Here in Nebraska, people are stealing irrigation pipe out of the field trying to sell it for scrap. There were several instances of people stealing the pipe trailer and pipe and selling the thing as is. Thankfully they were caught, prosecuted, and the goods were returned to their rightful owners. Construction sites and similar places are having a heck of a time keeping things that are even "nailed down" from taking legs.
