tried to start my old Jeep the other day. It always started easy but no way this time. Traced the lines back to a big hole in the gas tank... where the fuel pump was?! This jeep you dont need to drop the fuel tank, the pump mounts on the side of the tank. Crawl under it, cut 2 wires & 2 rubber hoses, punch the ring around & out comes $150 worth of fuel pump. Cost me a days work, had to get help towing the jeep, grinding on starter, jumping from another vehicle, etc.
