Hi Walter, 1980 was a very dry year, we were lucky it only lasted one year that dry. This may sould stupid to some, but every since the Gov. built Stocton Lake the summers have changed in Northwest Greene, Southwest Poke and Eastern Dade Countys. This dry spell is not caused by that as it is wide spread. and OK, parts of Kansas, and TX are a lot dryer than we are.
