Nope, I dont read the paper, least of all the oregonian, but do you have a link to the article? Just speculating, but it likely was a glyphosate resistant gene to make RR grass. It sure would be nice, but I feel the folks at the lab are blinded by the now dollar. I think they should be looking at lazers for weed control. By the way, where in oregon are you? I'm just west of portland.
