My son (27 yrs. old) lucked out big time a couple months ago, although it was bad luck to start. He was riding his Gold wing in town one night and a girl in a car turned infront of him. No time to react, and he hit the car in the baxck door. He went sailing right over the car and landed on the road on his shoulder and head ( no helmet). Ended up with a slight concussion, and a broken shouldet blade. Is fine now, but it could have been worse being he didn't have his helmet on. Hejust bought a new bike, (not a Goldwing) but still doesn't like to wear his helmet in town.
