Might be time to get the Better Business guys involved. They SHOULD have notified you, but they didn't. It could have caused you some major financial troubles if you were a little short of funds and hadn't expected that extra charge.

If they aren't returning your calls and otherwise trying to ignore you, go higher up the chain of command. Most businesses will back off once the BBB gets involved.
