I had a 158 JD loader with a 7 foot bucket. It was a great loader for the reach and the height. The 148 is shorter and closer to the tractor. You decide. The 148/158 loaders were incredibly strong and reliable...Even easy to get on and off with their "pivot arm" attachment system and stand!

Over the fourth of July weekend, the Illinois State Fairgrounds in Springfield, Illinois, was the site of the Old Gold National Antique Tractor Show.
