There not much wrong with the 6.0 now,most if not all the bugs have been worked out.Me personally I would wait on the new engine until they work the inevitable problems out with it.The 7.3 was the same way when it came out.Is responce to the original poster, when you get it back.......trade it! I have a 01 7.3 abd it will be gone as soon as I save up for a downpayment.While it has been a good engine,litle problems to date have cost me more than 5000, and that does not include the tranny that I know is coming.
