One thing that impresses me is a job that is finished on time. If it is going to take a week, tell me.. Nothing makes a customer madder than not having the job done from promised. My business partner & I have always had disputes on this. He likes to keep telling a customer "Tomorrow", day after day, & it creates a lot of tension & ill will. On the other hand, I prefer to add a little time in, in case I need to order parts, or run into a problem. If I am going to be late on a job, I prefer to call them, & explain, before they call me. Usually, once you explain what the status is, they are OK with it...
