Bushhog pull type or 3pt

For cutting REALLY rough land which is better, the Pull type bushhog or the 3 point hitch type? Why is one better than the other?
I have a pull type 406 bushhog now, and want to convert it to a 3 point hitch type. Is this a wise thing to do?
