Sorry if I ruffled a few feathers, but I guess the point I was trying to make is that, as a farmer, I have to TAKE world prices for my products, so I can only hope to BUY my inputs at the lowest price possible in order to survive. I can't hope to survive any other way. Ask Allan from NB what it's like to survive in the real world of farming to-day! He went through the wringer in the eighties.
BTW, I'm not American, but a Canadian full time farmer.
