Even though I was born in Kansas and currently live in North Carolina I spent many years living in Nebraska and still have family there. As a child, in the '60's we lived by the town of Shelton for 6 years. It was Shelton that Charles Kuralt profiled years ago as a "small town" in his on the road series. After that I farmed out near Imperial for a few years till the blizzard of '77. I was out there last week getting an old tractor and forgot how much I miss the prarie....
