360 with a 3 speed? What did that come out of? 360s were Ford�s version of the Chevy 348 boat anchor. Low powered gas hogs.
The 300 and C-6 is a good combo for a pickup, but as said before, you won�t get good gas mileage, especially in a 3/4 ton. Best thing for your pickup is a stock 390 or 428.
