barn questions

I am going to try to put a barn up next week or so.. so I have a few questions for you guys..
it is going to be 30X40.. wall down the center that will be 10 foot high.. outside walls will be 8 foot. from the center wall to the outside wall it will be 15 foot.. for the roof can I use 2x6's 2 foot apart? or what? not really sure on that.. and for the floor, can I put down concreate 2 inches deep? I know 4 is best but need to do this el-cheapo.. I would put down 2 inches of sand under it. and what is better to use for siding? tin or plastic? thanks for ANY info you can give me..
