Ford Golden Jubilee (1953)

This would be a good old tractor, except it steers like a "Sherman Tank" (without power steering)!! I've cleaned out some old water-contaminated grease, (not easy), from the steering box, & replaced with new grease, etc., but no change. It is even hard to turn back to center, from a hard left, or right turn. Anyone got any ideas on how to correct this?? Thanks. Jerry - Okla.
