We have a 1947 WC Allis Chalmers that we are restoring. We replaced the starter with a new starter that requires the original linkage and rod that extends to the foot petal (the old starter had a solenoid). Does anyone know where we could get these parts (including the spring)? We also need the original magneto ground control rod, but we are not sure how it attaches to the magneto. The magneto is a Fairbanks Morse J4B3. Any help with locating these parts would be greatly appreciated.
