Little before my time as I have never worked on a Lycoming but did fart around with some old Hercs and Deere 4cyl power unit. Does it have a governor? Or can a small updraft carb be adapted. If you aren'tworried about keeping it bone stock then just drop a Chevy small block in it LOL
