Why the extra trip with the windrower. Been doing this for years and alwasy wonder why you do extra trips just to cut the oats. I always have just combine the oats and baling straw right behind the combine in most years. rye same way just way more straw. Some years when they don't like to dry down I still just cut them and drop them in bin with air and bale next day. Just wondered why.
