Back in the late 50s, mom and dad had a problem with squirrels on the bird feeder outside the window of the breakfast area in our house. Dad rigged up an oil burner transformer between the house current and some screen wire he placed on the feeder. Had a Cutler Hammer momentary push button switch sitting on the window sill by the kitchen table. With one hand holding his coffee cup and the other poised at the switch, he showed the gray squirrels that they really COULD fly. He used that set-up for many years. John
