Sorry, I doubt a mere 12 volts DC would stop or even slow down them darn coons. Ive known of dudes to use the 120 VAC hot phase wire with a light bulb in series as a current limiter and jury rig up something but thats sure not any National Electrical Code permissible application and a person could get hurt besides sooooooo you didnt hear that from meeeeeeeeeeee lol.
