Never had an 856. Did have a 4020 though. Great tractor! Very dependable and a great all around workhorse. As far as repairs, wouldn't know too much about that, never had to do much to it. 8,000 sounds cheap for a 4020 though. Does it have a lot of hours on it? Good Luck.
