OT Hooking up dual RV batteries

My two different-sized camper batteries are finally shot (used to use one at a time) and I am going to buy a matched set to hook up in parrallel. I think I know what to do, but I am checking the collectively astounding wisdom of YT bulletin board to make sure.

Connect the batteries with a cable positive-to-positive, then negative-to-negative, then attached the leads from the camper to the respective + and - terminals of one of the batteries.

Correct?
