Esc, A bad coolant temp sensor may or may not set a code. I just had a 94 Z-28 Camaro in the shop that needed one,and no code.It had alot of the symptoms you describe, with no code.Try jumping the two terms. together,or leaving it unplugged to see if it runs better either way. The EGR valve is located at the rear of the engine next to the last intake runner pipe.It will have an electrical connector at the top(EGR position sensor),and a vacuum nipple at the valve itself.Try unplugging the EGR pos. sen. to see if it helps, and see if there's vacuum at valve(shouldn't be). Hope we can nab this sucker!! ~brad
