Back in the spring I painted my son's 1979 F100 John Deere Yellow. He didn't want to but I insisted(had enough extra to do it)we go with yellow. He is 16 and lots of people come up to me and say they had seen him somewhere. It sticks out but looks good.We put 10x 15 chrome spoke wheels on it and new dual exaust aluminized 12 inch glass packs. The little 302 sounds exellent.I drive an 86 F250 dark blue.I was asked the other day if it was a"highboy" and I wasn't familiar with that term.I did tell him that according to my manual that the serial number says it to be a Heavy Duty,I sure know it rides rough and has enormous sway bar diameter.Wished I had a digital camera Tim I want you to see what son's F100 looks like.
