Bought a Ford Ranger, 4 cylinder, 5-speed stick, 85,000 miles, ran it 4 years.
Then bought another Ranger, long bed, 2.3 liter 4 cylinder. $500. 5 speed stick, 171,000 + miles on the clock! Now has 182,000 miles. doesn't burn oil, runs great, probably last me a long time! Mainly local use, mower pickups and deliveries, but have used it for longer trips, too! Nothing beats an old Ford!
