Also differential locks were avail. on the 3020/4020 but not the 3010/4010. The rear PTO stub shaft was attached MUCH better on the 20-series (with a snap ring) than on the 10-series....(four bolts), rear bar axles were incrementally larger on the 20-series which prevented axle mount duals from interchanging. The 3020 engine had counter rotating internal balancing shafts the 3010 did not have. 6 cyl. engines did not need that shaft. There were also running changes to fuel filters, electrical systems. Also 3010/4010's had three reverse gears while 3020/4020 only had two.... but the gears are still IN the tractor if You modify the selector on the dash accordingly. And Yes, Sometimes I DO need to go 10 mph in reverse!
