Right off the bat, the 20 series Waterloo tractors (these were 3010-3020 and 4010-4020) had larger engines and more HP than the 10's, but other than that, they were similar in terms of hydraulics, gears, etc, except that some of the components were upgraded to take the greater power. But they both had the same type of closed centre hydraulics, 8-speed sychro-range, etc. and the general architecture of the tractors was the same. The big change was that the 20 series offered a power shift. The 20 series had running improvements along its production span, but the big change was around 1968-69 when they had another jump in HP, alternator, side console mounting for hydraulic controls , etc. HTH.
