Any good tractor show will have some sort of exspences (dash plaques, advertising, grounds maintenance, labor, electricity, INSURANCE, bookkeeping) ..... and the money has to come from some place. To me the price of admission to these tractor shows is the cheapest form of great family entertainment you can get! I looked up the Tuckhoe show on July 6-9, 2006 in the 2006 Farm Collector Show Guide and at the bottom of the ad on page 263 the stated admission price is a $5.00 donation for adults (under 12 free), then written right underneath it states "No donation necessary for exhibitors and colonial crafts" . Bill in Richmond, Va. P.S. The Tuckahoe Show is a great show I have been there several times.
