Just listening to a live radio report on a fire west of town here. Over 1000 big round bales of this year's hay in 3 stacks are burning. About 30 firefighters from 4 departments, plus lot's of volunteers are working on it. With a South wind @ 30 mph, and temperatures headed for the 90's today...not the best recipe! The farmer's Wife reported she looked out the window this morning @ 5:30, and saw one bale burning on the top of a stack. You have to wonder what the cause is.
