Doh!!

I went to the shed to egt the 285, walked around the back, and wouldn't you know it..... I saw a nail sticking out about 1/2" from the rear tire right at eye level... I called my dad to let him know and take care of it. $210 later for the service call, a new tube, 10 gallons of fluid (yeah, they're loaded) and the labor.... What really stinks is that this is the same tractor I ruptured a dual wheel on earlier this year. So far over $300 in rear tire repair on this tractor and we don't even have a new tire to show. We might have considered, but our 1855 needs new tires worse, and it's got bigger 18.4x38's vs. the 34's on the 285... Just another day getting poorer on the farm.... Donovan from Wisconsin
