Ford 4000 LP Tractor Problem

The Ford propane fueled tractor will only run about 15 minutes after each refill before needing to be refilled again. When the propane company comes out to refill the tractor, it will run for about 8 hours, which would need to be done each day - costly and impractical. Tractor recently serviced. Called several tractor repair shops. None had experience with propane. I believe that one suggested it could be a pressure problem during filling. Any insight or suggestions greatly appreciated.
