My dad had two of those when they were brand new back in the 1960'S.Dad loaned his ford dealer friend some money which he waisted and dad ended up with two 6000'S.They did run good and were better on fuel than our JD tractors, but they would jerk your head off shifting and sometimes they would decide to take off with no one on the seat,so we never let them idle. The throttle and shift levers were exactly the same and i know of people who were hurt buy grabing the wrong lever thinking they were reving it up,instead it went into gear.At a local auction one went through there chain link fence with no driver.
