Do you know which are the best varieties to plant for a) baking and b) chipping. I too plant a garden and I usually plant at least two varieties; Chieftan Red and Superior white, although I'm interested in the English varieties also. Since I do an organic approach, I end up picking off all the potatoe beetels by hand (What a job!!). Hence I only plant about half an acre. But I sure do love using the old tractor to do the tilling and hilling. Thanks
