Hayliner problems

Seems to be a lot of experience here, so I thought I would see if anyone out there can point me in the right direction. I have a Hayliner 270 (and a manual) and after finally getting it timed (sheared bolts and one broken needle later) and now I am having a knotter problem. One side will hold the twine and cut it and the other side, no cutting. Neither side seems to be making the initial knots. Since I have been unable to find a pictorial story of how the knotters are supposed to work, I am can only guess. I am hoping to get someone to help (as I cannot turn the pto and watch the knotters at the same time) so that I might be able to see what is or is not happening, but there is no guarentee when that will be. I have a baler that I am borrowing, but would prefer to use myown.
Any words of advice or even getting pointed to where I can see pictures of exactly what I am supposed to see is greatly appreciated.
