Heat the threaded joint all around until it is dull red. Play the torch so that you don't cut through or melt the cast iron. Then remove the torch and let the manifold set and cool naturally for several hours. DON'T put anything on the hot manifold to accelerate the cooling such as water as it may make it crack. The next day try to loosen the threaded joint. It will very likely be loose and able to be unthreaded.
