Low, low speed gears were an option on the Farmall H. I'm not sure how many gears you would have to replace in the transmission to put them in though... or where to find a gear set.

The M&W 9 speed is an overdrive, making each gear (one through four) faster along with speeding up the PTO as well.

I know of an H with a GM V-6 in it that has a 4-speed transmission in the torque tube in 2nd gear to slow the tractor down, but that option would also slow down the PTO - making the point moot.

Time for a 300 with a TA!
