OT: Autozone doesnt know - 1993 Buick Lesabre

Hey guys, this is off topic, but I bought a 1993 Buikc Lesabre and for the heat and air, it only comes out of the top by the windshield and the floor - always comes out of both places but never the vents that blow out of the dash....I am wondering what I may need to check out to fix this?
It has the push button controls, not a knob to turn...is there some sort of vacuum valve that may be sticking?
