Balance Smalance. If you still have both pieces, just weld it back together. Sounds to me like you broke it so close to the hub the repair can't cause it to be 'out of balance' enough to make much difference anyway. What are we talking about here? A Space shuttle? Go for it. ps......BUY a SET of blades for back-up NOW. ONE broken blade SHOULD tell you something.
