Homegrown BioDiesel

I�ve been reading a little about biodiesel the last few days. Just wondered if any of you are growing your own rapeseed (canola) or soybeans and pressing them for the oil and then processing it to make the biodiesel. I kind of like that idea better than trying to secure a reliable source for waste oil. I�m just toying with the whole idea so far but would like to hear from someone who is actually doing it. I heat with fuel oil and also have a quite a bit of diesel equipment. Besides I like tinkering with stuff and the idea of being self-sufficient is very appealing.
