The picture also reminded me of a prank we used to pull while in the service on a brand new, out of tech school, wannabe electrical trouble shooting whiz... We"d take 1/10 amp fuse wire, wrap it around the two prongs of the power cord of an electric drill, (up against the base of the plug) or other power tool, and tell the new guy to get the tool from the tool crib to perform something or other. Well, sure enough, when he plugged it in, the fuse wire would give off a very brief spark, a puff of smoke, and scare the you know what out of him. Funny at the time, maybe not now. Of course, I was about 20 in those days, and bullet proof.....
