Well I was curious,and googled it...LOL.We plant close to a hundred tomato plants and do alot of canning.What I found..it says to throw a handful of oatmeal,a pinch of human hair and an antacid tablet in each hole.Suposedly,the oatmeal and human hair is an old Indian trick..and the antacid is to keep the acidity down in the tomatoes??????...folks claimed to have better tomatoes with the oatmeal then without..just what I read...yer milage may vary....
