I have about 20 acres of hay that I mow with sicyle mower. Have found a 489 haybine that farmer wants $1000 for. Haven"t seen it yet but he says bine is good working order. He used it last fall and plans on using it when it dries up around here in central Illinois unless he sells it first. He says it looks rough because he has to store it out side. I need a better way to mow and condition hay but I don"t want to pay arm and leg for 20 acres of hay. What is a fair price to pay and what should I check for when I go to look at the haybine? Any help will be welcome. Thanks guys!!!
