Iveco is the largest producer of diesels worldwide. They are owned by or a joint venture of some sort of CNH (Case, New Holland) and are located in Europe. They make engines for tractors, trucks, combines, generators, reefers, and just about anything else. I think they are a good engine with the limited number of contacts with them I have had. Think about that reefer engine though....you put $50,000 worth of food in a semi-trailer then run it 24 hours a day without stopping....would you put a less-than-good engine on that reefer? I think if it bolts up and doesn't have a zillion hours on it you should be fine.
