That PHD did not seem to help you any with the way the real world works. We have people around here that will drive "up town" five times a day with a full size suv or 4x4 pickup to by a pack of smokes for $5.00 bucks and a Mountain dew for $1.39 each time. When they could have bought a carton of smokes for $33.00 at Krogers and a case of Mountain Dew for $2.99.
