Well yea you could open up the main jet BUT NOW KEEP THIS IN MIND that it will take twice the amount of E 85 to even come close to getting the same power and stright gas along with tryen to get the compression up to around 10 to 1 then it will not have any lug power Don't know how many of ya ever played with a Alki burnner and just how much fuel ya had to DUMP thru it to get it down the 1/4 mile as from what we tryed for tractor pullen with a built up tractor and the end results were a BUNCH OF SPARE UNUSEABLE PARTS from predetination because were could not get enough fuel into it even thru a 850 holley with 120 jets in the ft. and NO jets in the back then had to add a 1/4 inch line under the carb to spray more in . Sorry i am not sold on all this new gen. of renewable fuel in old tractors that were made to run on Gasoline as i see all the problems of running the 87 gas in a working tractor as we over here still have a bunch of everyday working gas tractors doing whatever on the farms and the 87 just doesnot cut it but they will run as close to full output on the 93 with out the plug fouling or swelling pistons or burning valves .
