All very confusing. In my part of the world city water is hated, you could sell the house a lot better with the well/cistern setup. Must not be that way 'there'. Those water line contracts _always_ go bad & cost far more than the well would have. Just hate water districts...... Around here the city water systems need softeners, so why would you sell that? You would need it..... If this is a big round poly tank, it would be worth $100 - 300 to a farmer as a sprayer tender tank. The pressure tank & softener you'd have to give $50 back to get a farmer to haul it away for you..... Just different condions in different parts of the country, how it s here. Likely doesn't help you with however things are where you are. --->Paul
