Ok what happened

I have a MH 30 that I was getting started so I could pull it in to the shop to work on it. I know the engine knocked some but figured it would at least make it 100 feet to the shop. Well it went puff, blew some smoke and the oil dip stich went flying. It then shut down and the oil pan is now leaking oil. I think I know what it did but want to see what you guys think. What say you.

If you rebuild the motor, you could use hardened seats and valves, and unleaded fuel. But if your old tractor runs good, a simple lead substitute added to the gas is a perfectly reasonable solution.
